EasyScript® Reverse Transcriptase is a genetically engineered Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MuLV) reverse transcriptase that lacks RNase H activity. The Reverse Transcriptase is expressed and purified in the E.coli system. It exhibits high synthesis efficiency, good thermostability, and an extended half-life.
Features
• No RNase H activity results in higher yields of full-length cDNA.
• Anchored Oligo(dT)18 primer can anchor to the first base immediately adjacent to the 5′ end of mRNA Poly(A)+, providing a fixed binding site with high specificity and ensuring the efficiency and success rate of first-strand cDNA synthesis.
• cDNA up to 8 kb.
