Product Details
CD63, also known as platelet glycoprotein 40 (Pltgp40) or melanoma antigen 491 (ME491), is a widely expressed protein localized in the endosomal system and cell surface, and it is mainly found in late endosomes/multivesicles (MVBs) and lysosomes[1]. CD63 is associated with vesicle transport and the occurrence and metastasis of various tumors. In ovarian cancer, low expression of CD63 have been found to be associated with tumor metastasis[2]. In lung adenocarcinoma, low expression of CD63 is associated with tumor metastasis and poor prognosis[3]. And it also has been found that CD63 expression is negatively correlated with tumor invasion and metastasis in breast cancer and colon cancer[4, 5]. This product is the mouse anti-human CD63 monoclonal antibody, which is used for the specific detection of human CD63 by WB, IF and FC.
