ProteinFind® Anti-Caspase 9 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Product Details

Cysteine-aspartic acid protease 9 (Caspase 9) is one of the Caspase family and is involved in the activation of the Caspases cascade inthe process of apoptosis. Under normal conditions, Caspase 9 exists in the cell as an inactive zymogen. When the cell is stimulated by the apoptotic signal, the combination of Apaf-1 and Procaspase 9[1] causes Procaspase 9 is activated by cleavage[2], and the activated Caspase 9 causes the Caspase 3 to be cleaved so that the cascade activation of Caspases eventually leads to the cell apoptosis.
