FlyCut® SalI is expressed and purified from E.coli that carries the recombinant SalI gene. The molecular weight is 36.3 kDa, with the recognition site at G^TCGAC The reaction is conducted for 5-10 minutes at 37oC, and heat-inactivated at 65oC for 20 minutes. This enzyme is not sensitive to dam, dcm, but sensitive to mammalian CpG methylation.
